Sick is a 2022 American slasher movie directed by John Hyams and written by Kevin Williamson and Katelyn Crabb. The movie stars Gideon Adlon, Beth Million, and Dylan Sprayberry. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11, 2022, and was launched through Peacock on January 13, 2023.

Sick Hollywood Movie Story: 

Tyler Murphy, a university scholar, was stalked by an unknown person in April 2020; while on his way home, the masked intruder ambushed and killed him.

Parker Mason brings her close friend, Miri Woodlow, to her family's lake house to self-isolate. They arrive at the remote lake residence while Parker gets a cryptic text message. The ladies head to a small dock to tan, and Parker gets some other message, unsettling them both. Later that day, the 2 play an ingesting recreation approximately with Dr Anthony Fauci while looking at the news. An unknown traveller arrives in the driveway and knocks on the door while unresponsive. Upon stepping outside, Parker finds no one and proceeds to carry a knife with her. The discern enters through the backdoor, but it quickly becomes clear that it is DJ, Parker's fling, who has arrived at the lake house uninvited. Now, before going to sleep, the three of them smoke marijuana and dance. After Miri leaves for her room, DJ confronts Parker about an Instagram post that confirms her kissing a person named Benji at a party. DJ suggests that they be dedicated partners; however, Parker disagrees, and DJ agrees to leave the residence the next morning.DJ then walks to his car, but a masked man enters the house while his lower back is turned.

The intruder steals people's phones while they are sleeping.DJ and Parker awaken as a loud song begins to play downstairs. After he noticed the intruder, DJ told Parker to get out of the residence and wait in his automobile. Outside, Parker sees the intruder sneak into Miri's room via the window and screams to wake her up. Miri runs to enrol in Parker inside the automobile even as DJ grapples with the intruder inside. DJ almost gets away, but the intruder stabs him more than once while he's knocked down. When the door opens and DJ shuffles outside, Parker leaves the automobile to investigate. She quickly realises that DJ's toes aren't touching the ground, and the intruder is protecting DJ with a tapestry banner that is pierced into his lower back. He then kills DJ and chases after the ladies, who force themselves inside the automobile. The automobile gets stuck, and the intruder chases it.

Miri and Parker run to the roof, but Miri is driven off to the ground. Parker races to the kitchen and uses force to subdue the intruder. A second intruder then enters and is distraught to see that their counterpart is wounded and probably useless. Parker runs outside to locate Miri alive, however, with a damaged leg, and tells Miri to play useless. The second intruder, believing Miri is deceased, chases Parker closer to the lake. She detaches a floating dock and rows herself closer to the neighbour's residence. The intruder emerges from the water in the centre of the lake, stabbing Parker and forcing her to swim against the current. When she arrives at the neighbour's house, he confronts her with a shotgun before she agrees to call the cops. Unfortunately, he is stabbed right away, and the intruder pursues Parker again, this time armed with a shotgun. Meanwhile, Miri enters the house and makes a splint out of a chair leg and wraps it with wrap. The first intruder regains focus and assaults Miri, who, in the long run, subdues him with a deadly stab.

Parker makes it to the main street and momentarily knocks the intruder down as a car approaches. She begs the girl riding to assist her, but the driving force insists she put on a mask earlier than coming into the automobile, which exasperates Parker. The driving force gives Parker a spare cover, which seems to be laced with chloroform, knocking her out. The driving force and the intruder return to the lake house with Parker, and he performs a COVID-19 check on her. The two are discovered to be a husband and wife named Jason and Pamela, and the deceased intruder is their older son. They reveal that Benji, the boy Parker was seen kissing on Instagram, is their younger son, who died of COVID-19. They suspect that Parker inflamed him at the party, as her COVID-19 check exhibits that she is positive and that they desire to avenge him by killing her. They additionally confess to the homicide of Tyler Murphy, as he became the only one who inflamed Parker. Miri tries to contact 911 through a laptop, but Jason notices the energetic Wi-Fi and destroys the router. Concerned that Miri won't be useless after all, Jason heads outside to investigate. Pamela threatens Parker, however, Miri sneaks up and knocks her unconscious. They defenestrate her, and after Jason offers to chase them via the home, they push him over a touchdown to be impaled on deer antlers, killing him. Parker and Miri break out of a barn nearby to discover a new mode of transportation; however, before they are able to leave, Pamela arrives and assaults them. While combating Parker, Pamela gets sopping wet in gasoline, and Miri is capable of setting her on fire. The police arrive as the two pals watch Pamela burn to death.
